From Baltimore: Take I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) to exit 19 onto I-795 (Northwest
Expressway), continue to its completion. Follow signs to Westminster via Route 140 North around Westminster, and turn left at Rt. 31 toward New Windsor. Turn left at the second light and proceed up the hill. At the three-way stop, turn left onto the campus road, bear left and go up, over and down the hill, turning right at the stone pillars. See "Final Directions."

From Washington, DC: From the Washington Beltway (I-495) exit onto I-270 North toward Frederick. Take the Damascus Exit (Father Hurley Blvd) and proceed North on Rt. 27 all the way to Westminster. At the second light in Westminster, turn left at the intersection of Rts. 27 & 32 and drive up Main Street 1/2 a mile to the very top of the hill. You will see the College on your right. Turn right onto the campus road, bear left and go up, over and down the hill, turning right at the stone pillars. Continue down the hill to the entrance on your right. See "Final Directions."

From the North: Take I-95 to I-695 and follow directions from Baltimore. Or, from I-78 take I-81 South to I-83 South, crossing the Susquehanna River in Harrisburg and follow signs to Rt 15 to Gettysburg, turning south on Rt. 97. Follow 97 all the way to Westminster, turning left in order to get onto Rt 140 North. Exit left onto Rt 31 toward New Windsor. Turn left at the second light and proceed up the hill. At the three-way stop, turn left onto the campus road, bear left and go up, over and down the hill, turning right at the stone pillars. See "Final Directions."

From the West: Take I-70 East past Frederick to the Mt. Airy Exit. Turn left on Rt 27 and proceed North all the way to Westminster. At the second light in Westminster, turn left at the intersection of Rts. 27 & 32 and drive up Main Street 1/2 a mile to the very top of the hill. You will see McDaniel College on your right. Turn right onto the campus road, bear left and go up, over and down the hill, turning right at the stone pillars See "Final Directions."

Final Directions: Park at your earliest convenience and walk up the hill to Baker Memorial Chapel (look for steeple, brick building). Registration will take place in the Baker Memorial Chapel front entrance.

Other Modes of Transportation: Three airports serve the Metropolitan area. The closest and most convenient is BWI, being just 40 minutes away. Dulles & Reagan are 90 minutes away. Amtrak serves Baltimore, which is 40 minutes away. Common Ground on the Hill will work with you to provide shuttle service to and from Amtrak or BWI for a nominal fee. Notify us of your travel needs upon registration.

From Baltimore: take the Baltimore Beltway I-695 to Northwest Expressway I-795, continue to its completion. Follow signs to Westminster via Route 140. Once in Westminster, turn left on Center Street, (opposite Westminster Town Mall). Follow Center Street through town, cross Main Street, cross Green Street, continue on South Center Street about ½ mile until you see the entrance to the Carroll County Farm Museum on your right.

The Farm Museum is within sight of the Carroll County General Hospital. If you follow signs to the Hospital, you will be able to find the Farm Museum with little trouble.
